Invited by the director of LAP³ Prof. Jianmin CHEN, Prof. Hartmut HERRMANN visited LAP³ and the department of environmental science & engineering (ESE) on Jan 18^th – 20^th, 2015. Prof. HERRMANN is the head of the Atmospheric Chemistry Department at the Leibniz-Institute for Tropospheric Research (TROPOS) in Germany. During his visit, a bilateral talk between TROPOS and Fudan Universiry was held. Academician Li JIN (the vice president of Fudan University), Mr. Xiaochang XU (deputy director of the division of science & technology at Fudan University), Prof. Xin YANG (dean of ESE), Prof. Lin WANG (deputy dean of ESE) and Prof. Bin ZHOU (deputy dean of ESE) attended the talk, and both sides expressed the intention of cooperation. Prof. HERRMANN also had a laboratory tour and joined the academic discussion with researchers of LAP³.
