Dr. W. Song received his Ph.D. degree from Florida International University in 2006. Prior to joining Fudan, he worked as a postdoctoral associate and research specialist at UC Irvine, USA. His research interests include free radical chemistry, emerging contaminants, and photo-chemistry of micro-pollutants. His research was supported by NFSC Outstanding Youth Foundation (2014). He was awarded Eastern Scholar at Shanghai Institutions of Higher Learning by SHMEC (2013) and Shanghai Pujiang Scholar by STCSM (2012).
